About
Suzanne
I'm a licensed clinical social worker focused on helping parents be the agent of healing and change in their family and helping children thrive. I also help teens and young adults through trauma, anxiety, depression, transitions or whatever challenge they are facing. Therapy is a place where all parts of you are welcome, where we can work together on what is most important to you.
I earned my MSW/MPH from the University of Michigan in 2000 and am a Registered Play Therapist. I've worked in both inpatient and outpatient settings. I am also trained in Theraplay and parental coaching.
I am married and a mom to 3 teenagers. We have fostered many refugee children and I am always planning a trip somewhere. I am curious about how people feel, why they do the things they do and I'm always reading a book that gives me new insights into human behavior. I'm also a cancer survivor who is on a quest to live today well.
